Bastrop's First Annual Big Bang! Celebration
The inaugural Big Bang Celebration begins with the Bastrop Stampede 5K and Kids Mile at 8am. The Pet and Pal Parade begins at 10am, after which Bastrop's historic Main Street hosts a cornhole tournament. Bastrop B A N G O offers a chance for visitors to complete downtown bingo cards to be entered into a prize drawing. Lastly, Market Days takes place downtown with sidewalk vendors selling handmade items. The celebration culminates in Fisherman's Park at 6pm with live music, concessions, and fireworks at dusk.
