It's never too early to start getting ready for this year's Lighted Christmas parade in Bastrop. It's always an exciting time for you, your family and your friends you'll remember for a lifetime.

It’s Bastrop’s famous Lighted Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 9, 2017. More than 100 entries—from fanciful floats to fire trucks, from Honey Bears to longhorns, from Santa’s helpers to the man himself—will light up the Main Street night for this joyful Bastrop tradition, produced by the Bastrop Downtown Business Alliance.

With festive lights blazing, this year's parade celebrates 'Holidays, through the eyes of a child...' - the joy of seeing the holiday season through your child's eyes and recalling the warmth and cherished memories of Christmases spent with friends and family and expressing bright hopes for Christmases to come.
