McDade Watermelon Festival
Free entry to Festival Grounds. Sweat'n Melons 5K 6:30am followed by Grande Parade at 10am in Historic Downtown McDade. Car Show 8am-2pm. Live Music & other activities kick off at the festival grounds 10:30am. Melon eating contest, seed spitting contests, cornhole & washer pitching tournaments. BBQ Cook-Off, Prize Melon Auction and more. Concessions & food available for purchase.
