Frontier Bank is excited to announce the purchase of a vacant building located at 921 Main Street in downtown Bastrop. The newly acquired space will be utilized as office space, meeting facilities, and a deposit and loan production office. This expansion brings added convenience to new and existing customers while addressing growth needs now and in the years ahead.
The space will first be used as a board room, a training facility and as flexible office space, allowing employees more freedom in where and how they work. The new Frontier location will also offer loan payment and deposit capabilities for the convenience of local bank customers. The new property is the fourth Bastrop County location for Frontier and the second in the city of Bastrop. The bank already operates a full-service location just a few blocks away on Chestnut Street.
Frontier President and CEO Patrick Johnson says the growth of the bank’s footprint reflects the growth of the market. “Bastrop is poised for growth,” he said. “Strengthening our presence here recognizes that expected growth… Frontier grew up in Bastrop County and we take pride in serving the local businesses and residents that call it home. This new space will allow us to build on that and better serve our customers as well as our bank team. We plan to continue to add to our Bastrop team and as we do so, this new property will give us the flexibility we need and allow us to even better serve the community.”
Echoing that sentiment, Bastrop County Commissioner David Glass said, “Overall, Bastrop’s strong economic growth, community focus, and strategic position makes it an ideal location to further our investment. He added, “we are eager to host the 2024 Lost Pines Christmas Parade announcers from the building’s balcony.
Organized, chartered and headquartered in Bastrop County, Frontier’s presence in its home county is growing. The bank recently opened a full-service banking center in Smithville.
This newest move by Frontier will represent the 13th location overall for the rapidly growing Central Texas bank. Frontier operates banking centers in Elgin, Bastrop, Austin, Leander, Manor, Round Rock, Taylor, Buda, Georgetown and Smithville.
